# Launch checklist

> Pre-launch checks for a Coriolis-managed WooCommerce store before the domain goes live.

Run this checklist before the domain points at the new store. A launch is a DNS change plus a test order, not a redesign. Most items are already configured at setup. You are confirming them.

## Before you point DNS

| Check | What good looks like |
| - | - |
| Store name, phone, address | Match the FFL record and the footer |
| Policies | Terms, privacy, refund, shipping, and an FFL transfer policy in your words |
| Payments | Gateway connected. One test authorization succeeds |
| Shipping | Zones cover the states you sell to. Firearm classes do not offer home delivery |
| FFL Checkout | A regulated test product forces dealer selection |
| Catalog | At least one live product with photo, price, and UPC or SKU |
| Domain | DNS records ready. Cloudflare proxy off on the shop host record if we flagged it |
| Email | Order mail sends from your domain, not a default host address |

Order mail is the launch check. Campaigns after launch are covered in [email marketing for FFL ecommerce](https://www.coriolisagency.com/email-marketing-for-ffl-ecommerce).

## Test order

1. Place a non-regulated accessory order to a real inbox you control.
2. Place a regulated test item and select a transferring dealer.
3. Confirm the order lands in WooCommerce and, if Cockpit is on, in the fulfillment queue.
4. Refund or void the tests. Do not ship them.

## Go live

1. Confirm the password or coming-soon gate is off only when the checks above pass.
2. Point the domain. Allow DNS to settle.
3. Load the storefront on a phone that is not logged into wp-admin.
4. Watch the first real orders the same day. Reply to transfer questions yourself until the pattern is obvious.

If a check fails, do not cut DNS. Open a ticket with the failed row and a screenshot.
